Our pathologists have over 350 years of collective pathology experience and were trained or held faculty positions, including professorships, at leading academic institutions such as Johns Hopkins, Harvard (Brigham andWomen’s and Beth Israel), Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, M.D. Anderson, Duke, Cornell, University of Texas, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Medical Centers.


Caris Diagnostics currently offers several educational and research programs that attract World Class pathology talent, facilitating the delivery of academic caliber pathology. Daily and monthly conferences, including guest lectures and journal club, assure the most accurate and specific diagnosis for your patients and the highest quality of ongoing training for our pathologists.

Caris GI Pathology FellowshipTraining and Residency Programs    Affiliated with the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center, the Caris Diagnostics GI Pathology Fellowship Training Program offers a unique environment for both training and research. Each fellow will complete rotations at both Caris Diagnostics and the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center.


Caris Diagnostics also provides GI subspecialty training to pathology residents from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center. Our academic caliber pathologists, educational conferences and remarkable pathologic material allow us to offer such a popular and acclaimed experience.


Research    Caris Diagnostics is dedicated to furthering health improvement through our focus on
clinical research. Our research committee includes world-renowned GI pathologist, Robert M. Genta, M.D., Caris Diagnostics GI pathologists and our clinical colleagues. With one of the nation’s largest repositories of archived pathology results at our fingertips, the research committee identifies research opportunities having clinical relevance to the gastroenterologist. Our research endeavors improve the detection and treatment of GI disease and promote GI wellness.
